Somam Rural District (Persian: دهستان سمام) is in Rankuh District of Amlash County, Gilan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Malekut.

At the National Census of 2006, the rural district's population was 3,332 in 961 households. There were 2,818 inhabitants in 955 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,793 in 1,049 households. The most populous of its 21 villages was Musa Kalayeh, with 694 people.
