Songoro, Meru
Songoro is an administrative ward in the Meru District of the Arusha Region of Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 114.0 km (44.0 sq mi), and has an average elevation of 1,285 m (4,216 ft). The ward is the source of the Kikuletwa River through the Tengeru River as a tributary which eventually leads to the Pangani River. According to the 2012 census, the ward has a total population of 11,139.
