Sri Adwayananda Public School, administered by Alliance Educational Foundation, is a private, English-medium school in Malakkara, Kerala, India, that conducts classes from kindergarten to twelfth standard and also offers nursery.
About the school
Founded in 1987, the school is non-sectarian and accommodates children from varied socio-economic and religious backgrounds across two campuses for its kindergarten through twelfth standard. It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and also to Cambridge (IGCSE/AS/A). The school is located in Malakkara village near Chengannur, Kerala, India.
Since its inception in 1987, the school has been dedicated to nurturing young minds in a rich learning environment. Visitors to the school remark on the joyous atmosphere and enthusiasm evident among the children and teachers. Situated in a beautiful natural setting, the lower campus (LKG to 4 standards) provides a vibrant learning environment. Bright and airy classrooms create an engaging atmosphere complemented by outdoor playing areas for holistic development. By the Upper Primary Section, the children are motivated towards group projects including an annual Expo which showcases a wide variety of topics. Examinations are introduced in a fun way through an "Exam Fest". By the High School (ages 12–14) and Plus-Two (ages 15–17) sections, the children prepare for the external board examinations in tenth (ICSE), Cambridge (IGCSE) International General Certificate of Secondary Education and twelfth (ISC)/ Cambridge AS/A levels. Exclusive to our upper campus, Big History, an interdisciplinary curriculum underwritten by Bill Gates, broadens our students' perspectives.
In collaboration with tGELF, New Delhi, students also benefit from the Skilling and Know Initiative for Lifelong Leadership Development. This program, developed by Harvard, Columbia, and Penn State Universities, enriches their educational experience.
The school’s resilient graduates have gone on to higher learning at distinguished institutions in India and abroad and on into the professional world.
