Creating a "Media representation" section?

Instead of jumping ahead and creating this section, I thought I'd post here first. Other identities have robust sections of this type, like Lesbian#Media representation, Bisexuality#Media, Asexuality#In media, and Intersex#In society. I was thinking of moving SOME content from Non-binary characters in fiction to such a section. I can come up with a mock version of this possible section if you think that would help. Otherwise, I am trying to pair down Non-binary characters in fiction a bit (focusing mainly on examples either with media coverage or scholarly analysis), so if you would like to help with that, it would be appreciated. It would be best to base such a section on scholarly analysis if so. Some of that material, like at Bisexuality, just lists off certain media and cites contemporary entertainment news, which isn't as good. Crossroads 17:53, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can agree with that, that makes perfect sense. Historyday01 (talk) 19:07, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Grammatical error in lead section

this is going to sound really stupid but at the very start of the article where it talks about gender and sexuality being separate, there's a colon and there should be a semicolon instead but i don't have a wikipedia account and it's 2am

I did the edit, and a few more wording fixes. Thank you for pointing out this error.
By the way, you can consider creating an account. See WP:ACCOUNT for the benefits of an account and criteria for creating an account. If you are having more trouble deciding whether to create one, you should also see Wikipedia:Why not create an account?

Percent or percent units?

Under Pronouns and titles, changes of part of people in the survey compared to the last survey are written as if they were percent, however, this seems to be supposed to be in percent units. Is this correct? Gurkmaztha (talk) 20:21, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

hi, sorry, tired queer at 1 am here. just thought it'd be reasonable to suggest that the abbreviations are changed from "Enby • NB" to "NB • Enby", to show off the non-binary -> nb -> enby pipeline better

no worries if not, tyall for everything you do 98.97.5.142 (talk) 05:54, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Generally this sort of thing is kept in alphabetical order, but I went ahead and added a copy of the footnote that explains the abbreviation. It's not a perfect solution, so anyone else passing by is welcome to give their thoughts, but hopefully that should make it easier to access for people skimming the page.
