Tasuj Rural District (Kavar County)

Tasuj Rural District (Persian: دهستان طسوج) is in Tasuj District of Kavar County, Fars province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Tasuj.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Kavar District of Shiraz County) was 20,847 in 4,406 households. There were 11,059 inhabitants in 2,659 households at the following census of 2011, by which time Kavar District had been separated from Shiraz County in the establishment of Kavar County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Kavar as its capital and only city at the time. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 11,199 in 2,813 households. The most populous of its 28 villages was Tasuj (now a city), with 4,555 people.
