Tekaman Village
Tekaman is a place on the main island Nuribenua of the Tabiteuea atoll in the Gilbert Islands of the island state Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean. He belongs to the district North Tabiteuea. In 2017, the place had approx. 244 inhabitants.
Geography
Tekaman is located at the northwestern tip of the island and is next to Tekabwibwi the northernmost place of the atoll. To the north extends a Burch of the Atoll, which is spanned by the Tekaman Causeway dam, which leads to Tekabwiwi in the north. In the village there is a traditional collection house: Tekaman Maneaba and inside the island stands the Catholic Church Atinbanin Iesu.
In the southeast, Tanaeang is the closest place.
