Template:ESA-SSA

Description

Template {{ESA-SSA}} creates a set of external links for a specific minor planet. The links point to the NEO Coordination Centre's website of the European Space Agency (ESA) in the context of its Space Situational Awareness (SSA) program. The template is a sibling of {{NeoDys}} and {{JPL small body}}

Usage

To be used in the "External links" section in any minor-planet article. The template uses two parameters for numbered minor planets, and only one parameter for provisionally designated bodies. The first link always displays the title of the article (i.e. page name) where the template is placed in (that's why the examples below display the template's rather than the object's name). Use the template as a list item with an asterisk (*).

== External links ==
* {{ESA-SSA|number|name}} or {{ESA-SSA|provisional}}

Example

Unnumbered

* {{ESA-SSA|2020OY4}} for 2020 OY4 – no white space between year and alphanumeric code for provisional designations

Numbered

* {{ESA-SSA|6037|1988EG}} for (6037) 1988 EG – no parenthesis for numbered minor planets

* {{ESA-SSA|2058|Roka}} for 2058 Róka – no diacritical marks for named minor planets

For some special cases such as 469219 Kamoʻoalewa it is best just to the objects number, i.e. {{ESA-SSA|469219}}
