Template:Lead Extra Info

Place {{Lead extra info|date=September 2024}} at the top of articles where the lead section contains information that is not mentioned elsewhere in the article.

  • Use this template when a lead fact isn't discussed by the body at all
  • Meanwhile, if the body does discuss the fact but fails to verify it, use {{Not verified in body}} instead
  • Use this template regardless of whether the fact is verified (by the lead) or not. WP:LEADCITE allows for facts to be verified in the lead, but not for facts to only be discussed by the lead
