This template determines the header colours of player rosters and navbox templates for netball teams. Each team name specifies four colours, outlined in the table to the right and explained below.

In player rosters, where an Example team is named using {{Netball roster header|team=Example}}, the following four colours are specified for the header:

These colours are explained below:

1. Team header: background colour
2. Team header: font colour
3. Sub-heading: background colour
4. Sub-heading: font colour

Each team has its own four colours, shown in the table at the top right.
