Thermal Power Plant No. 3 (Ulaanbaatar)

The Thermal Power Plant No. 3 (Mongolian: Улаанбаатарын ДЦС-3) is a coal-fired power station in Khan Uul, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

History

The power station was commissioned in 1968.

Technical specifications

The power station has an installed generation capacity of 198 MW. In 2023, the power station used a total of 9.4 million m of water to generate power.
