Torqabeh And Shandiz County

Torqabeh and Shandiz County (Persian: شهرستان طرقبه شاندیز) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Torqabeh.

History

After the 2006 National Census, Torqabeh District was separated from Mashhad County in the establishment of Binalud County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Torqabeh as its capital.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2011 census, the county's population was 58,483 people in 17,457 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 69,640 in 21,861 households.
