Travis Ranch Is a Neighborhood which is said to start construction in 2004. The first streets include San Antonio Drive, Travis Ranch Blvd, etc. Most large homes were built somewhat between 2006-2014. The original builders include Sheldon Homes, Megatel Homes and Riddel homes. This neighborhood was one of the best in its area until 2020 when the crime rate started rising when builders like Centex, Castle Rock communities, and DR. HORTON Express homes flooded into the neighborhood. These builders would sell the homes to investors which would turn the homes into low-cost rentals which some of the people who bought these homes were bad people. In the years 2020-2024 there has been way more robberies and fights occurred. This haunts the neighborhood till this day. Recently in late 2024 a community event was hosted which went well until there was a group of teenagers insulting each other. They got fake guns out and tackled the kid to the ground. Thankfully the police were already on the scene due to a previous incident. the kids were put in handcuffs but released because the police were too lazy to take them to the kid jail in Dallas. please do not erase any of this work if you want to edit you can just don't delete any work.
