About me: I came here thinking I couldn't do much to improve the grand Wikipedia...now I've basically got hundreds of ToDos / Tabs to improve on and it just gets ever more.
I self-identify as:
citizen of planet Earth, netizen, (post)cyberpunk, German, transhumanist
While editing I'm usually listening to some good type of dubstep, good post-rock, ambient trance, psytrance, ambient, post-metal, synthwave, much or probably even mostly good techno and other electronica.

In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model.
You create a new model and make the old one obsolete.
That, in essence, is the higher service to which we are all being called.
(Wikipedia is part of this presently establishing paradigm e.g. commons-based peer production] - "people are likely to continue utilizing an apparently unworkable paradigm until a better paradigm is commonly accepted")
