Intro
I am a woman of a certain age, as they said in a more gracious time, and I live in California.
I would like to see Wikipedia's articles on costume approach the depth and usefulness of its articles on botany.
I am dubious about the practice of displaying stacks of user tags. (I am also dubious about bumperstickers, for similar reasons.)
I have contributed to these articles.
- Hobbits delight in such things, if they are accurate: they like to have books filled with things that they already know, set out fair and square with no contradictions.
- – J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring. Prologue, "Concerning Hobbits"
