Kalinators(talk·contribs·deleted contribs·nuke contribs·logs·filter log·block user·block log) – account is being used only for promotional purposes. I'm asking for this user to be permanently blocked as promo-only. Putting aside their personal attacks, legal threats (for which they were blocked; recanted, and now unblocked), and general belligerence, their only purposes here is to promote themselves, insisting that their already-rejected autobio draft Draft:Kalin Stefanov (backgammon player) must be published. I know they have disclosed a COI, but that should not give them free licence to keep bludgeoning and badgering until their get their way. DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:37, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
Note on file Please note that many names contain the string "shit" especially names from India - be careful that this is not the case before blocking. -- DQB (owner / report) 09:20, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
Looks like an editor who has been editing constructively, separating personal matter/possible COI stuff until this edit, albeit with a low edit count. I could see that happening to myself if I had content outside of Wikipedia to promote, or to anyone in a similar situation. 🙈 Have dropped a promo warning template on them, with a link to the COI policy page as well and let's see how it goes from there. – robertsky (talk) 10:01, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
Except this editor does have a username violation; the editor makes it clear that the account represents realityripple.com. This is pretty blatant. I'd block it now except the account is 18 years old. ~Anachronist (talk) 18:02, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
This. and yes. 18 years. – robertsky (talk) 20:00, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
Not a blatant violation of the username policy, but it's worth keeping an eye on their edits. Filter log shows vandalism/test edits, if it persists please report to AIV. -- Euryalus (talk) 14:07, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
Not a violation of the username policy. Stage names and pen names are permitted except when they imply that the editor is a specific living person they are not. Consider filing a report at the conflict of interest noticeboard. Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 09:04, 15 August 2024 (UTC)

Hey, I was granted 3 month rollback rights trial by Robertsky, and it is set to expire next week. Can someone renew it so that I can continue the counter-vandalism work with Antivandal. Thanks. GrabUp - Talk 07:16, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
Automated comment This user was granted temporary rollback rights by Robertsky (expires 19:09, 19 August 2024 (UTC)). — MusikBot 07:20, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
Not done given that you are currently blocked from PERM pages for disruptive editing/hat-collecting. Please spend a few months establishing a pattern of positive contributions after the block expires before requesting advanced permissions. -Fastily 07:01, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
Nice of you. 😄 GrabUp - Talk 07:11, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
To counter vandalism and IP vandalism. TheFrenchKing (talk) 20:55, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
Not done You don't need rollback to undo inappropriate edits. If you're still interested in this tool then please spend at least a month actively patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & Ultraviolet can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, Fastily 07:01, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
I just reached 500 wikipedia edits, and almost all of them have been patrolling recent changes. I'm due to become an extended confirmed user tomorrow so I figured now would be a decent time to fill out a request for rollback rights. I would like rollback rights to use more wikipedia extensions like AntiVandal. Partey Lover (talk) 05:46, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
Not done I noticed you started actively reverting vandalism a few days ago. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I'd like to see you spend more time gaining experience fighting vandalism before assigning you advanced permissions. Keep up the good work, and consider reapplying in a month. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits (I recommend using tools such as Twinkle or Ultraviolet which makes this extremely easy). Thanks, Fastily 07:01, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
I have been active patrolling recent changes and combating vandalism with Twinkle. I meticulously leave a note of caution on the talk page of users I revert their edits. Having advanced tool will facilitate the work. Piscili (talk) 12:56, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
I have been patrolling recent changes and combating vandalism for a little over a month. I've been primarily using Twinkle and I would like to request rollback privileges to use other tools such as Huggle. I understand the importance of leaving users a notice whenever their edits are reverted. Jiffles1 (talk) 22:30, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
