Virmuni
Virmuni (Persian: ويرموني) is a village in, and the capital of, Virmuni Rural District of the Central District of Astara County, Gilan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,151 in 612 households. The following census in 2011 counted 2,319 people in 697 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,440 people in 758 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
