Washington Township, Whitley County, Indiana
Washington Township is one of nine townships in Whitley County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,253 (down from 1,281 at 2010) and it contained 478 housing units.
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.5 square miles (92 km), of which 35.46 square miles (91.8 km) (or 99.89%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) (or 0.11%) is water. The streams of Cox Branch and Huffman Branch run through this township.
