Wikipedia Talk:User Access Levels

To non admins, the box that shows if your an admin or not under the administrator section shows “Your account is .” Lordseriouspig 10:07, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it's working fine to me. Try again, maybe on a different browser? Primefac (talk) 11:48, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Same issue for me (as a non-admin); the doc on Template:If administrator states that "It is not currently possible to display text only for non-administrators", and the second parameter used on the page is unimplemented, so pending technical changes the box probably needs to be reworked or removed Quadrantal (talk) 06:21, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

App version

I seem to be logged in to the wiki app, but the article still says i am not logged in. I don't think that there is an easy way to fix this, just putting it out there. AxelTrold (talk) 17:00, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Extended confirmed before autoconfirmed on TOR?

On tor, autoconfirmed is 90 days and 100 edits. It does not mention anything about extended confirmed which is 30 days and 500 edits. lets say a user with 510 edits and an eighty day old account on tor or IP block exemption may be extended confirmed before becoming autoconfirmed. Days to edit ratio

Autoconfirmed is 2.5 edits per day and extended confirmed is 16.7 edits per day. Why is the extended confirmed requirement 6.68 times faster? Boring pass (talk) 04:39, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your maths is backwards, it takes longer to get ExCon, but that's kind of the point - a user needs to demonstrate that they have enough edits and time editing to edit in topics where EC may be enforced. Primefac (talk) 12:02, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
