Zalian District (Persian: بخش زالیان) is in Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Tureh.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 42,665 in 11,108 households. The following census in 2011 counted 38,813 people in 11,315 households, by which time the village of Mahajeran had been elevated to the status of a city. The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 43,398 inhabitants in 13,766 households.
