Zeta2 Librae

ζ Librae (abbreviated Zeta Librae, Zeta Lib, ζ Lib) is a variable star in the constellation Libra. It is approximately 261 light-years away from the Sun.

Zeta Librae does not have an HR number, although it is included in the Bright Star Catalogue Supplement.

Characteristics

33 Librae is an F-type main sequence star. It is an α Canum Venaticorum variable or a rapidly oscillating Ap star, thus it bears the variable star designation GZ Librae and is almost 14 times brighter than the Sun.
