Abareq
Abareq (Persian: ابارق) is a village in, and the capital of, Abareq Rural District of Deh Bakri District, Bam County, Kerman province, Iran.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,896 in 457 households, when it was in Howmeh Rural District of the Central District. The following census in 2011 counted 3,199 people in 923 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 4,568 people in 1,264 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
In 2018, Deh Bakri Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Deh Bakri District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Abareq Rural District, to which Abareq was transferred.
