Anaqcheh Rural District

Anaqcheh Rural District (Persian: دهستان عناقچه) is in the Central District of Bavi County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Amashiyeh-ye Yek.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the Central District of Ahvaz County) was 22,692 in 4,198 households. There were 9,005 inhabitants in 2,112 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the rural district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Bavi County and was transferred to the new Central District. The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 10,321 in 2,737 households. The most populous of its 31 villages was Seffak, with 869 people.
