Borshchivka, Izium Raion
Borshchivka (Ukrainian: Борщівка; Russian: Борщовка) is a village in Izium Raion (district) in Kharkiv Oblast of eastern Ukraine, at about 71.1 kilometres (44.2 mi) south-east from the centre of Kharkiv city.
The settlement came under attack by Russian forces during the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

The settlement had 1281 inhabitants in 2001, native language distribution as of the Ukrainian Census of 2001:

The Kremlin did not discuss the topic of the security council meeting, and the Kremlin's Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that the Kremlin will not comment on the "situation around Balakliya and other events in the special operation zone."
