Cantemir, Moldova

Cantemir (Romanian pronunciation: [kanteˈmir]) is a town in Moldova. It is the administrative center of Cantemir District.

Demographics

According to the 2014 census, the population of Cantemir amounted to 3,429 inhabitants, a decrease compared to the previous census in 2004, when 3,872 inhabitants were registered. Of these, 1,631 were men and 1,798 were women.
