The Central District of Mehran County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان مهران) is in Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Mehran.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 20,019 in 4,443 households. The following census in 2011 counted 23,873 people in 6,011 households. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 26,173 inhabitants in 7,488 households.
