Central District (Omidiyeh County)
The Central District of Omidiyeh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان امیدیه) is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Omidiyeh.
History
After the 2016 National Census, the village of Miankuh was elevated to the status of a city.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 70,037 in 14,447 households. The following census in 2011 counted 73,587 people in 18,711 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 81,618 inhabitants in 22,267 households.
