Template:Committed Identity Topicon

Placing this template on your page adds an icon the the top-right of your page and indicates that you have protected your account with a committed identity, as per the {{Committed identity}} template. This is only a top icon, however. It does not provide any security nor displays your hash string; this top icon's purpose is merely symbolic. For instance, you might place {{Committed identity}} on your user page, and {{Committed identity topicon}} on your user talk page.

This icon is based on {{Top icon}}.

Usage

Place {{Committed identity topicon}} anywhere on your user page.

Parameters

  • |sortkey= – If you use more than one top icon, you can specify this one's sort order within the group.
  • |link= – You can specify where clicking this top icon sends the user. Default is Template:Committed identity.
  • |width= – Uses a different width for the images. Default is 22 pixels.
  • |height= – Uses a different height for the images. Default is 22 pixels.

|width= and |height= are restrictive, meaning when one parameter is not set explicitly, the default value acts as a maximum, even if the other parameter is set higher. To increase the overall size, both must be specified.

Examples

Sorting top icons, left to right, with {{Extended confirmed topicon}} as the right-most top icon:

{{Committed identity topicon|sortkey=1}}
{{Extended confirmed topicon|sortkey=2}}
Note, the sortkey parameter defines their order if desired, but otherwise they default alphabetically. Add a leading zero when sorting more than 10.

Setting the size of the icon to 30px:

{{Committed identity topicon|width=30|height=30}}

Sending the user to Wikipedia:Personal security practices when top icon is clicked:

{{Committed identity topicon|link=Wikipedia:Personal security practices}}
