Template:Move Review Talk

This template supports the Wikipedia:Move review process. It is to be placed in talk page sections containing a closed requested move discussion, outside of and above the closed RM discussion, to provide notice of an active or closed review of the close. Pages tagged with this template appear in Category:Pages at move review. Closed move reviews, per the |result= parameter, are in Category:Closed move reviews.

Usage

This template accepts five parameters: |date=, |page=, |result=, |comment= and |nocat=. By default, the template takes the first two unnamed parameters as the date and result.

For the |date= parameter, use the date on which the discussion first was listed at Move Review, as in: {{move review talk|date=9 November 2024}}.

For the |result= parameter, enter the result of the review (e.g., Decision endorsed, overturned to moved / not moved, relisted, or no consensus).

The |page= parameter is optional and, if left blank or not included, defaults to: "{{SUBPAGENAME}}".

The |comment= parameter is optional and can be used to add further helpful information about the result.

The |nocat= parameter, if set equal to |nocat=true, |nocat=yes or anything else, will subdue the normal sorts to categories.

Example

See Talk:Harry S. Truman National Historic Site for an example of how this template may be posted on a closed discussion page.
