Template:Plinks

This template creates floating internal link boxes linking to:

  1. A Wikipedia WikiProject, task force, or work group.
  2. A Wikipedia Portal.
  3. Up to three Wikipedia Noticeboards.
  4. The WikiProject Directory, the Portal Directory, and the Regional Notice Board Directory

Use

The complete syntax for this template is:

{{Plinks|var1|var2|var3|var4|var5|align=|group=|parent=}}

where:

  • var1 is the optional base name of a Wikipedia WikiProject, task force, or work group.
  • var2 is the optional base name of a Wikipedia portal.
    • var2=1 the base name of the Wikipedia portal is the same as var1.
  • var3 is the optional base name of a Wikipedia notice board.
    • var3=1 the base name of the Wikipedia notice board is the same as var1.
    • var3=2 the base name of the Wikipedia notice board is the same as var2.
  • var4 is the optional base name of another Wikipedia notice board.
    • var4=1 the base name of the Wikipedia notice board is the same as var1.
    • var4=2 the base name of the Wikipedia notice board is the same as var2.
  • var5 is the optional base name of another Wikipedia notice board.
    • var5=1 the base name of the Wikipedia notice board is the same as var1.
    • var5=2 the base name of the Wikipedia notice board is the same as var2.
  • align= the optional floating box alignment parameter.
    • align=left
    • align=right (default)
  • group= the project group type of var1:
    • group=WikiProject (default)
    • group=task force
    • group=work group
  • parent= the base name of the parent WikiProject, required if group=task force or work group.

Restriction

This template should not be placed in the main article namespace {{NS:0}}.
