Washington Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana
Washington Township is one of seventeen townships in Kosciusko County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 3,025 (up from 2,996 at 2010) and it contained 1,344 housing units.

History

Washington Township was organized in 1838.

The Robert Orr Polygonal Barn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.43 square miles (91.8 km), of which 34.86 square miles (90.3 km) (or 98.39%) is land and 0.58 square miles (1.5 km) (or 1.64%) is water.
