Zagros District (Persian: بخش زاگرس) is in Chardavol County, Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Balavah.

History

After the 2011 National Census, Bijnavand Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Zagros District, which was divided into two rural districts. The village of Balavah was elevated to the status of a city and made its capital.
