Baghshad

Baghshad (Persian: باغشاد) is a city in the Central District of Lenjan County, Isfahan province, Iran. The city was established after the merger of the former villages of Bagh Shah, Madiseh, and Now Guran.

Baghshad is a Persian-speaking city.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Baghshad's population (as the total of its constituent villages before the merger) was 4,924 in 1,240 households. The following census in 2011 counted 4,679 people in 1,367 households. The 2016 census measured the population as 4,356 people in 1,408 households, by which time the city had been established within the Central District.
