Central District (Shaft County)
The Central District of Shaft County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شفت) is in Gilan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shaft.
At the National Census in 2006, its population was 35,319 in 9,193 households. The following census in 2011 counted 33,887 people in 10,386 households. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 32,403 inhabitants in 10,944 households.
