Central District (Shaft County)
The Central District of Shaft County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شفت) is in Gilan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shaft.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 35,319 in 9,193 households. The following census in 2011 counted 33,887 people in 10,386 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 32,403 inhabitants in 10,944 households.
