Levan Township is one of sixteen townships in Jackson County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 850 and it contained 365 housing units.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.77 square miles (95.2 km), of which 33.36 square miles (86.4 km) (or 90.73%) is land and 3.41 square miles (8.8 km) (or 9.27%) is water.
