And a one off show in your house is a bit different from a venue used by hundreds of musicians over the span of almost a decade. I take it you prefer your commercial stuff. The eMelbourne source is merely to show how the CHCMC is summarised within Melbourne music more broadly, and by a reliable, encyclopedic source. It's a relevant and notable episode in the history of Australian music. Or as the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art put it, one of sixteen "defining moments" that shaped Australian art since 1968.
