Central District (Shahin Shahr And Meymeh County)

The Central District of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شاهین ‌شهر و میمه) is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shahin Shahr.

History

After the National Census of 2006, the county was created from the division of Borkhar and Meymeh County into Borkhar County and Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2011 census, the district's population was 175,886 people in 51,664 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 211,606 inhabitants in 66,338 households.
